Dr. Shamard Charles, MD-MPH is one of four co-owners of Last Gen Publishing, a hybrid maverick proudly disrupting the traditional publishing model by amplifying voices from underrepresented communities. He also chairs the Health Sciences and Leadership department at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, while simultaneously working as a public health doctor. In his spare time, Dr. Charles enjoys taking care of his plants and hosting a monthly health podcast called The Revolutions Within Us.
